Hey everyone,
I just noticed that one of my hygrophila stems seems to be melting, but only the very bottom portion of it where it is in the substrate. I can see that some of the tissue is gone and it seems to holding on by a thread now, but the portion of the stem above that area seems fine, and the leaves feel firm to the touch and look green and healthy. Should I cut off the bad part of the stem and replant, or should I cut the bad part off plus extra from the stem, pull off the next node of leaves, then replant it much further down into the substrate?
Thanks for the help!
