Shoaling Question

Currently cycling my tank and planning a community type stocking. What happens when you have multiple types of shoal in fish. I'm thinking of 6+ zebra danios, 6+ cardinal tets with maybe another group of a different type of tets later. Will they stay as separate groups or will they all shoal together?. I'm guessing danios and tets will stay apart, but what about when there's two groups of tets?

My Harlequins, Cherry Barbs and Neon tetras tend to all shoal together
 
Occasionaly they shoal in in their own groups depends on their mood!! lol

OP, both species you've mentioned are schooling, so more than likely they will just school with each other.
