Hi, I've just seen on their website that they've just had a delivery of Zebra Plecs and I wondered if anyone has seen them, I tried phoning them twice today but engaged both times. If anyone has had a look could you please tell me there size, price and there condition. Thanks.

They have fully grown ones at The Aquatic Habitat in Brockworth, just off the M5 about 30 mins north of Bristol. £150 each last time i looked.

I was there on sunday. Size is about 3" to 4", price is labelled at £110 and condition *appears* good. Shirleys fish are normally pretty good, but I didn't pay specific attention to the zebras this time. Wife likes them, so we had a quick look. They only had 2 that I could see, up the end in the discus tank area.

*edit*, I forgot to add, I believe they have a policy of not selling you the zebras unless you bring in a water sample for testing.

wow, that's expensive!!!

i have a store here near montreal that sells them for 59.99$ CDN
they're about 5 inches long

I beleive Shirley Aquatics is a bit over priced...especially their Discus. I have been able to get high quality fish for half the price of their not so brilliant stock.

Thats just Discus though, other fish are as good as any just some are more expensive then they ought to be.

last time i saw Zebra plecs there, was in the Discus tanks...i would rather buy them from Tri-mar by mail order although right at this moment they guy there is unable to get them. However he will do soon...big demand.

Sorry folks but at teh moment £110 for 3-4" specimins is a 'great' price.

Most places are looking for that for 1.5"-2"

As for 5" examples - they were probubly not that big in reality - 5" would be a BIG zebra.
