I'm not sure if this should be in the emergency section or not...... 
anyway, one of my guppies has been acting oddly, and according to the anti bacteria meds bottle, I think its the shimmies. I know all of the advice says to isolate him,but at the momentI don't have a hospital tank (its leaking, I know i must buy a new one), and the leaflet said that the medication can be used for all manner of things, not just diseases, ie to help hatching eggs, or as a disinfectant for fish,so while its not ideal, I treated the whole tank.
The medication is eSHa 2000, has any one ever used this, and is it likely to work? It doesn't give any suggestion in the leaflet that it doesn't, but then it wouldn't, would it!!
If it doesn't work, how does "shimmies" progress, and what should i do with my fish?
