Shellies

My multis are in a holding tank, being summer here it is unheated and due to a filter dying, has been unfiltered for a week or so. So doing some maintenance tonight and i have wee little multis, so cute. They will be in the holding tank for a bit longer yet. I will however be replacing the filter once i can drive again.

aaawww congratulations , I had a brief intro to shellies and I got rather smitten so on the lookout for some more

Not sure i could pic em up on the camera, they hover around the shells and are quick as lightning lol

Yeah devastating. Loved the little fellas, and were starting to churn out fry nicely too. Saved about 4 cherries from the tank and a bn trio, but all the shellies didnt make it

Man. Sorry to hear about the loss. Buy yourself a battery powered bubbler for these instances. I now have two on hand for power outages and the like. Good luck with the new tank dwellers. I want Shellies someday. Thinking about blacks.

A battery powered bubbler would not have saved them i'm afraid. Wasnt power that caused the deaths.
