afternoon, i'm finally ready to set up my 30g tank as a tang biotope, i'm going to keep a few shell-dwellers (with shells) but would like something else, i know nothing about Julidochromis species, can anyone recommend some to me please? and synodontis.

I can tell you that Julidochromis dickfeldi exhibits an extrememly rare trait in the entire animal kingdom, yet alone in the world of fish... Several generations will help protect the current new fry, not just the parents. They often have a lovely blue hue, too!

Would second that on the Dickfeldi, have kept them in the past, 1 single with shellies then had 4 with shellies, very nice fish, transcriptus are a tad smaller, check out the gombe variety, very unusual but intersting looking fish :good:
