Melody STILL won't eat, and it's been almost 7 or 8 days. But she doesn't seem sick or anything. She's a happy little perky girl. I was thinking maybe it was being in a divided tank with Ariel, but I even moved her out, and she still wouldn't eat.

AND, I'm hoping this is just all bettas or something, but Cabaret had a white spot on his stomach, (like right under his mouth on his belly) It doesn't look like disease, and Sebastian and Neptune have the exact same spots.

AND, Neptune has been in a corner ever since I changed his water yesterday, and now he's not eating. Could be be grieving over Cabaret, perhaps?

males release their horomones in the water. so that water carrying them will pass through to the female and stress her out

Is she very eggy? I'm wondering if she perhaps thinks she's full because of a massive amount of eggs pressing in on her belly. I think constipation might have killed by now. She won't eat a mashed pea, eh? Wilder might have some insights on other consptipation remedies you can try.

Hm.. I dunno. She looked a little round on the tummy. I tried pea, and even cucumber, and she stuck her nose up. I was thinking earlier maybe she was just eggy.. but I dunno. She's such a hyper fish, so it's not phasing her too much.

my fish isnt eating either... he keeps spitting out his food... he eats it but then he spits it bak out...hes scared i think because he wont eat until i step away and like when he does he strikes the food and quickly swims bak down

:grr: can you get hold of any live food...even if it is only one little water flea? look outside in places where rain water lands...not many can resist live food. one of mine loves tiny water snails he sucks them up and then spits out the shell! are you uk or outside?

r u sure neptunes water is ok I changed a divided recently and both bettas sat on floor with fins clamped for 24 hours until I put them in some MORE clean water dunno what weas problem.

Haha, I guess I could try some live, but I was honestly a bit afraid to feed it. I'll have to wait till I get the money anyways and see if my mom will allow me to buy some. I'm in the US, in TN.

His water looks pretty fine to me. My mom said he ate 2 pellets this morning, and was swimming around fine, so I guess he's okay, but today's water change day anyways.. so maybe he'll feel better then.

Thanks for the help, everyone!

Yeah, I told her all day yesterday to eat.. and finally I got frustrated and said, "Eat the freaking pellet you stupid fish!" She looked at me funny and swam the other way.
Vitamin bloodworms? Maybe they could still make it to the US? :D
