Okay, I'm writing this fast because I have to watch my tank. I added a plant today to my tank, and out of nowhere I find a baby fish!!!! I don't know what dropping fry looks like - I'm assuming the one dropping is my Black female balloon Molly. She must have been so dark I didn't notice the bulge! I know balloons are fat so I didn't think it was a pregnancy bump!

She has a continual white "waste" coming out of her, which I why I think she's the one dropping fry. The others aren't doing anything. I've moved each fry as they appear into an emergency set of water. What do I do?! What do I need to raise fry?! I'm
I'm a fish newbie and I've only had my little guys for 3 days!

Congrats on the fry! :good: You can move the fry to a quarentine tank or you can use a plastic tub. Use water from the main tank. Or you can leave the fry in the main tank. If you have lots of plants, they won't all get eaten. If you plan on keeping them, it would probably be best to raise them in a quarentine tank with a filter and heater. lot's of water changes to keep the water as clean as possible. Good luck!
