hi all,,got a 45 uk gallon tank at the moment,,but i am upgrading to a 120 gallon uk...
i have 8 mnuba,cichlids with a catfish,,cuckoo catfish.
does anybody know if i can get a decent type of looking shark, type fish for my aquarium,,,,i know real sharks dont exist in fresh water tanks,,but i have seen parroon sharks with cichlids,,also pangasius sharks too,,,anyboby got any suggestions,,,,thanks.

I see a few problems with having sharks in you mbuna tank. 1. Diet, almost all mbuna are herbivores and to my knowledge most "sharks" are carnivorous, which leads to 2. larger growing shark species will likely be bullied by the mbuna when they are young, they'll probably be bullied as adults too until they eat the mbuna that is, and 3. size again, larger "sharks" will need plenty of swimming space, you'll need space for the mbunas rockwork too, most of them are bottom dwellers I think as well, which will also clash with the mbuna.

Personally, I'd stick with the synodontis catfish. :good:
