shark problems

Would a shark eat the other fish? the one i want is only 1 foot long.

well, this depnds on what kind of shark you want.
irridescent sharks, all tho they grow to 3 - 4 feet, they do not eat other fish. neither do rainbow sharks, and they grow to about 8 inches.

Are we talking about a REAL SHARK? Or just a freshwater? Bcs I have had 9" bala sharks living with neons and they got along famously! However if you are speaking of a genuine "I'm gonna bite yer arm off " shark, then yes I think all life in the tank is in danger!
