I have 2 tanks near each other, 1 is already using pressurised CO2, the other isnt. I've bought a diffuser for the other tank, and was hoping to split the CO2 so that both can share.

My first idea was to use adjustable airline valves. These leaked at the join, and emptied my CO2 bottle overnight :/
So i decided to glue them together at the join, they then leaked slowly from the top, where it screws in (adjustable part).

Second idea was to use a T adapter and to clamp the airlines. This didnt work out well. Once i had it set so that both were running fine, 5 mins later one would stop and the other going at double the rate. I've given up trying to get them set correctly, seems impossible.

My third idea was this off ebay: Brass CO2 Splitter
However it says it's only for electronic regulators... I've emailed the guy asking about this, but was wondering if anyone has bought one of these?

How do others split their CO2 between tanks?
Thanks

EDIT: I need to find a solution quite quickly as BBA has started to grow due to the fluctuating CO2 levels

You'll need to split the CO2 line BEFORE the regulators. Yes, you'll need two fine adjustment regulators. CO2 will always look for the easiest way out so using tube clamps etc. will never work long term. The tiniest of dirrerences in resistance to flow will stop one line. Splitting the flow prior to the pressure drop is the only way really for long term stability (I think).

Not sure on the regulator, says Mignon on top but google comes up with nothing. I use disposable CO2 cylinders. As for the regulator, that's Sirai.

ADA do a full range of Co2 spliters, T bars, speed controlers, stop ends etc. They have a handy locking mechanism, and as far as im aware they dont need any special way of setting them up. Just have the right Co2 tubing.
Heres the LINK.

they sell the stuff on aqua essentials. you need a y peice and to speed controlers one for each line.

I was hoping there would be a cheaper way than buying speed controllers, 2 of them would cost quite a bit!! That said, wouldnt it still give me the same problem i have now with the airline clamps? The air will take the easiest route?

I did a search for rex grigg, it doesnt appear to be available in the uk unfortunately.
