Shallow Glass Pond Build?

I want to build a shallow glass pond 27 1/2 in. x 26in. x 6 in. Tall. I have alot of 3/8 window glass that i would like to use for this build. With these dimensions will the glass hold the pressure. What about a wooden frame around the top and bottom?

6" high??.... The base would be extremely vulnerable & has to be verrry level (26 x 27") uhm....3/8th??... uhm??... I would not, but Big C is the glass expert.... If he does not stumble on your post, pm him.... very helpful guy.
