Shall I Be Expecting Baby Fishes Soon?

My female swordtail was swimming in my sunken ship ornament (not a very big ornament) earlier and kept al the others away by chasing them off.
I've now noticed the MALE is in there, right in there, with only his eyes and the front of his head visible.
Is there a problem? or could he be watching over some eggs?
I haven't a clue

All I can say is that he won't be watching over eggs since Swordtails are livebearers.
I hope someone else can tell you more than that!

Still there.
Done a test tonight and:
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 40ppm

When I fed flakes he didn't come out to feed for the first 5-10 seconds, where as ALL the rest were going crazy at the surface.
He did come out and have a good feed, but back in there now.
Any advice?
