Sexing Blue Acaras

I thinki have a male, he has yellow toped fin and no pipe comeing from him, Am i right here, as ive had a breeding pair before

It may be. How big are the fish and does it have filaments on the end of its dorsal and anal fins? The 'pipe' is usually only viewable in breeding fish when they lay and fertalise the eggs so dont base it wholly on that.

Probably a male then. Keep an eye on him, when he becomes sexually mature he will become much more aggressive and you may have to move him to another tank as he will probably be to agressive for his current tankmates.
