boy or girl?

Thought it was a boy by the spot but since I've got another couple or rams his/her tummy has really reddened up making him a girl right?

Looks like a male to me.Is difficult to sex these fish properly and you may have to actually observe the fish that lays the eggs to be certain. Also does not help that some who farm and import these fish subject young fish to dyes to help promote coloring that is usually found with older,more mature fish.
Have seen males that also have slight purple hue to sides or flanks but nothing as pronounced as that of females in spawning mode. Just my two cents.
