Sevs And Fronts - Any Chance?

Hi -

I'm starting a severum tank (with a small group of babies), but really like fronts also. Does anybody have them together? Aside from "personality" issues, I'm worried that their water preferences are too different. The tank is probably big enough for a pair of fronts (6x2x2).

Forgot to say that the fronts are babies too - it just so happens that a local guy is selling them...

I wouldn't. It's not a good idea to mix Lake Tang fish with fish of a different origin, let alone across continents. I have a Lake Malawi tank (an african tank) and I was advised by multiple sources against the of mixing Lake Tangs with them even though they are on the same continent.

Thanks kj - that makes sense. I guess I'll give up on the fronts...... for now....
