Severums

have looked into geophagus species minxy i rekon my substrate would be a bit harsh for an eartheater im using 5mm dorset pea gravel atm

Hmmm they do like to sift thru it and spit it out again, had mine with fine black gravel, they used to keep it turned over pretty well.

I wouldnt know what to suggest then, maybe someone who knows more about them could give an opinion on that.

if you get a larger geo then you shouldnt have any problems iv seen then sift through dorset gravel didnt seem too bad festivums is a good option but they dont really appeal to me they arent the livliest of cichlids

a couple of Uaru may be an option, again they should work well with the Angels and Severum.
I've been thinking about getting some for a while now to go with my Nicaraguence, Severum and Geophagus, but now I have had to put that idea on hold until I can source a bigger tank.

A single Male Sajica would also look quite stunning IMO or a Nicaragua Cichlid for that matter

thats put a cat among the pigeons davo i could quite happily have all those. especialy the male sajica and nicaraurense. hmmm maybe i should get onto the missus for a 200g tank
