i have had my sevs (5) or 3 weeks now and reallyt enjoy them. their facial expressions are great and these are my first big shoaling fish.
they stay together in a tight group all day.

just wondering if i will have any probs between Sevs and the resident festives

what size tank do you have?
I think Severum can sometimes be a bit more boisterous than the festivum, but in a good sized tank, you shouldn't really have any major problems

they are in a 90G and all are less then 3inches.
they only have pearl gouramis and the aro for tankmates.

tank size sounds good, (excluding the aro but i'm sure you know the arowana will require a larger tank as it grows),
my only other concern would be the pearls, sometimes Severum will attack peaceful fish so that may be something you will need to look out for.

My Severum can be a bully at times. But mine is also about 6in!

I am Not worried about the Pearls as they are all over 5 Inches and have so far handled themselves with the Aro.

I'm abit worried about how many fish you have, 5 severums will need a tank bigger than 90G, and there will be hell if two pair up. They may be small now, but they do get big. You probably have a plan though, but thought I would mention this. (Same for the arro).
