Hi, I know that the fish like guppys and swordtails are small but I've heard of people having a Severum in a tank with them. Would this work out because I really hope It would. I would use a 55 gallon and have a gold severum with guppys. Report back ASAP please. THANK YOU!

i have 2 green severum in a tank with tetras and swordtails and had no problems at all

The guppies will be food. I have a 7" gold severum that easily eats crickets and krill much bigger than most guppies.

Try dwarf cichlids, keyholes are nice :)

If you get the sevs when they are VERY small and you add them to your guppy tank then you might get away with it not eating any, but I wouldn't risk it. Also I have a 55 UK gal and sevs. grow MASSIVE so if you want a sev then you will only be able too keep one in a tank as small as that. I keep 2 in a 100 UK gal tank, amongst other fish.
