is there anything that i can add in my tank with my fish stock? i dont have any shoal fiah yet, id b will to part with sum stuff 2 get my stock proper

Hi patti_n_jojo , :)

Don't think you should add anything just yet ;) .

Your Severums will most likely grow 8" or more , eventually leaving room for one over crowded looking , and maybe even very unhappy Severum IMHO :/ .

Things may work better if they were moved , provided your Gouramis are getting along , pearls an exception among the over 3" Gouramis , but aggression among them is not entirely out of the question , to me the tank at this point is still kind of busy :( . :) But with good tank maintenance you may be able squeeze 5 or 6 zebra [ or like ] danios .

I would say if u were to just have severums u would need at least a 48g tank!

It may work now but sooner or later your severums are going to be cramped and lazy in a 29 gallon. I would return them, give them away or buy a 55 gallon to house them.

A 29 gallon is only a 20 gallon as far as footprint goes, and this isn't nearly enough. You can start the Sevs in it no problem, but if you don't upgrade to at least a 50 gallon tank sooner then later it will take a toll on the fishes health, lifespan and growth potential. In addition, a lot of people think a fish fits without taking into consideration that fish actually like to swim!

Sweet, i'd leave it for now, but when you get that 75 you can to ad a shoal of bottom dwellers (catfish, loaches) and a shoal of open water swimmers (larger bodied tetra's, rainbows, danios).

i plan 2 get a 75 gal in july
Why didn't you say so :p :) , I tried to come back on that night and suggest some smaller fish for your 29 gal , but my modem hasn't been working very well .

I don't see why you couldn't keep the pearls and sevs in a larger tank , that would be great , and maybe look into some of the smaller gouramis for the 29 .

By smaller I mean honey , sparkling and croaking gouramis :) , they should be able to coexist with your rams .
