We went to the LFS yesterday to pick up supplies and I saw this beautiful Sev in one of the tanks. They were all baby Sev, supposedly turquoise, and the largest one in there (maybe 1.5" at best) looked like someone had taken a big bite out of the side of his head.
Well, I asked them to sell him to me for 1/2 price and they did. (Paid 2.50 for him) So, I have him (and he's Green not turquoise) in my 30g with my angels (they range in size from about .5" to about 3.5") and I'm wondering if this will work for the long term? I also added some StressCoat to the tank for him.
My bigger Sev is fairly aggressive, but I know they aren't 'supposed' to be very aggressive. Should I look at this as being a short term setup? Or could it potentially work for a longer stretch of time? He seems very friendly and has lightened up and is eating and seems to be getting along with all the angels.
Any thoughts or advice here?

Well, my 3 Angels live with a vicious Oscar, and they get along fine... Ive found that my Angels are usually quite the agressor, and scare any potentially deadlier fish... Maybe its cause they are fast...
They've also chased anyone they didnt like out the top of the tank.

Wow, those are some unique angels you have there. Mine are inquisitive but I haven't witnessed any real aggression out of them.
The Severum I put in there with them seems to be doing just fine. He's eating and hanging out with the other fish with no problems.
I would never even think about putting my angels with my oscar. The way he goes after feeders, and chases the tiger barbs (he hasn't caught one yet), I would think they would be food in just seconds. How did you come to have your Angels with an Oscar anyway? Thats a story I'd like to hear.
