Hi all, I have a gold severum that Im buying and setting up the tanks for hopefully by the end of dec/ early jan. Dont worry already have a cycled filter! but might.. up recycle it i guess you call it for a week or two before putting the fish in as Its set up on my 29g that most of my fish are in. I have an old aquaclear 500? for 100g+ i beleive.. works like a charm! about 1/3+ the length of my tank.. anyways im just hoping to tranfer most water, the filter+ media, and the gravel? (might change to sand) Ive figured out kinda how I want it to look with lots of slate structures ect, and a few nice full fake plants... As Cow (the sev.) has eaten every plant put into the tank because at the time I didnt know they were the lawnmowers of the fish species.. Now Im trying to figure out a stocking that would work best for him and my cories as Id like to put all my corries in there (albino, pandas, pepperd,false julii and a skunk) and raise their numbers, I will also keep my 29g up and running as the media for the other filter I have for that tank is already cycled in another tank hoping to totally rescape that one.. might do a noobs verson of a planted (basic plants just hoping to get them very full and lush)) So I room to shuffle..If things dont work out! Im really wanting a betta sorority of 6 or so atleased and getting another angel as one of mine died about a week or two ago ( found his way under a huge! chunk of drift wood.. and i guess couldnt get out, water stats are fine so im thinking it was an accident/ suicide =[) and has left its little side kick all alone. If anyone could recomend any tank mates or ways i could aquascape that would make my fishies happy but also have it visually appealing that would be fantastic!
