Setting Up A New 55 Gallon Tank, Stocking Help?

well i love danios and i saw that they are so domesticated now due to the ease of breeding them that they can do well in many water types. i like the look of cichlids but arent they aggressive? and is my water too hard for any type of catfish? also, if i have to have shrimp instead of catfish than ill change a shaol of corys for a school of hatchet fish, as they are top level swimmers and will stay out of the way of the other fish. ok so a list excluding cats and with shrimp. i like the idea of changing rasboras for dwarf rainbows but idk if ill be able to get a hold of some

8 danios
7 rasboras (or dwarf rainbows)
7 hatchetfish
2-4 guppies
2 platy/swordtail
a lot of shrimp
2 mollies
1 gourami
