Setting Up A Half Land, Half Water Fish Tank

Hi all
I'm upgrading my mudskipper tank into a much bigger tank and looking for interesting ideas, how to set it up?
The big Challenge is that it want it rather deep, so I can be other brackish water fish with it?
And wondering how to stop the sand from collapsing?
It is a 175L tank.
And I would like two sand banks with water in the middle?
* I want the natural look, with sand



And what fish could i possible put in this brackish water tank? and what plants as all the plants i try die in the brackish water?

You could use slate to hold the sand up by building steps or slopes at various heights rocks or bog wood could be used also

You will have to work out what would go with your skippers safely though

fish and skippers is almost an impossible mix: i had the same plan myself about a year ago, for a 240 l tank, and i gave up after detailed research. This is particularly true if you have the African skippers. In a 180 l it Will be hard to have land AND enough water depth for fishes. The brackish forum is the right place to get very good advice.
