Seriously Need Help! My Bala Shark! Please :(

i have a 4ft fish tank (58 Gallon)

And i was wondering if my 6 inch bala shark would be ok in there.
?
he's currenly in there with 2 parrots about 1 inch or so and 3 small zebra danios

water temp is 20.

and he has tryed jumping out but i only got him today !

help please imm worried losing sleep over it!

maybe he thinks its too cold in there...balas like water between 22 and 28

the tank will eventually be too small for it, they need about a 400 litre tank. also they need to be in groups of 3+ otherwise they get skittish which may explain why it tries to jump.

Hmm well my bala sharks felt quite comfortable in 70 degree water, so maybe the temp. is too cold? Also, my balas often were a tad jumpy when I first got them too. But that wore off after about a month and they were perfectly happy and lived for 3 years.

3 years isn't very old for a Bala shark, given the right condtions you can expect them to live closer to 10-15 years.

My local fish store which has been running 30+ years quite often get Bala sharks back from customers they sold them too 8/10 years ago simply due to the fact they had grown too big
