I'm about to get java moss from someone and they asked if java moss will die, because it's really cold outside. It is about 30 degrees everyday, and I was wondering if it would just stop growing, or if it will die, and never grow again.

Depends.. should be alright overnight.. I'd be cautious about anything more than that though. The cold weather can kill plants. Unless they're sent with a heatpack of course.

This one will crack you up....
Pseud sent me some Riccia awhile back..
I was on vacation at the time, and it sat in my mailbox for 3 days....
It was like 25 degrees for like 2 of em....
When i opened the package, it was a serious cold plant... heh

I tossed it in the tank and i took off growing lie a weed...

Go figure... ;)

Dude, I forgot all about that lol

So is it going to survive, or just die? If it will survive, then I was tell them to send it, it not, then I'll tell them not to.

Dude, I don't think anybody here is a seer. You know that cold CAN kill plants, and you've also been told that plants CAN survive. You take your chances. Nobody can be certain of anything.

I didn't think "seer" was actually a word, so I looked it up, and I stand corrected...
Looks like I learnt a new word today!
:)

Yeah, hehe, it's a cool word. Been waiting to use that one correctly in a sentence for weeks!
