Selling My Tank

I do agree with the just in case idea as well. I have several spare tanks, and wood to slap together for a quick stand. If you get in a jam & need a tank, the few bucks you make selling that one won't make up for having to go out & get new equipment.

I would also keep it as it would be great as a JUST IN CASE tank :D

Hm for"- over the side heater
- aqua clear mini filter system (I might even consider buying filters to put in with it)
- thermometer
- wood colour stand with shelves and doors
- some possible decorations
- maybe a pump and air bubbler"
I wouldn't really pay much. A 10g tank is $7.99 new, the aquaclear is <$25, stand I can't really say, need pics of that. Decor nothing almost used, pump $4.99 new and bubbler same if not less.
I'd pay $40 at the very most.

I don't mean to argue here, not my intention, but I don't agree with your prices. Mine are canadian maybe that's the difference, the prices I have are from stores (because I just don't have the time or effort or want to try and buy stuff from ebay or wherever.
The 10 gal tank... when I had to buy a new one (from a store) it cost me over $40
The aquaclear new is also over $30
The pump is at least $8

I do agree with the just in case tank and I might end up keeping it. I have a couple of months to think about it since my babies will be in there for a while.
My problem is spacing, I live at home and I have very little room, but on the other hand in 3-6 months I will be moving out. I think I will have room for the tank somewhere, the stand I can use probably for something else.

Thanks for your ideas guys, it's given me a lot to think about.
