Hey Everyone,

I have been searching for the perfect betta for my little sister for christmas. She loves fish and currrently has a 10 gallon. I have bought a 5 gallon and put my old setup in this. I am now looking for a good looking betta.

All my lfs stores have boring mundane bettas either in red or blue.

Just wondering if anyone has anything special that I could purchase??

Cheers,

Reesy

p.s not sure whether to post on this page or on the swap/sell part as i am unsure if you guys pay much attention at that section?

Modaz sells bettas on Ebay, his ID is dpfishways. Netty and Bronzecat sell too, PM them and ask what they have available :)

Aquabid are good, however Modaz and Netty have fish available soon, i also have bettas available however not quite ready for xmas though- sorry
and you get a couple available on e-bay too.

Oh no! A Suffolk person selling Bettas?! God help me lol!

Aquabid is mainly US based and cost a fortune to post to the UK and if customs open and you have no import licence you will lose the fish.

Modaz is who i would sugest, and if you do get one from someone make sure u request a heat pack, as it's quite cold ATM.

i have a lovely blue/green male betta that id like to sell for a small sum (like £3 lol) but then postage cost need to be taken into consideration unlesss you want to pick up??

:)

Just incase anyone misinterprets this, our postage costs do include a 24hr heat pack and this is included no matter what time of year it is :good:

We're in the process of getting photos sorted out of the Bettas that will be available on our website for sale and these will hopefully be uploaded to the site soon.

Darn it, I'm drooling already just hearing about pics - anybody else suffer from this type of Pavlovian reaction to Netty's announcements?

Yes, ME! How exciting!!!

Maybe Netty'll be nice and send you a betta-viewing, drool absorbant virtual bib, as she did me.
Although Lord knows a high proportion of the drool puddling up in my keyboard is ALL HER FAULT!
