Yipes!

Ok so for some unknown reason my filter stopped working at some point in the night. When I turned the light on this morning the water was cloudy.

I took the filter out and opened it up to look for a blockage and nothing. Gave it a bit of a clean and put it back in and it is now working but definitely a LOT less powerful than usual!

What can I do? The water is still as cloudy as this morning

check the impeller for hair or other things that may be wrapped around the impeller shaft and check that the impeller is not broken! if there are no other possibilities for the decrease in flow...buy a new powerhead for it...and make sure you dont run the pump out of water.

I'm sorry which parts are these?

the bit which spins and drives water through the pump...the pump is reffered to as the powerhead...the impeller is found in the powerhead
