I got a used Eheim Pro. 2026 today full of muck and it's now running.

What difference will this make to my fishless cycle?

Is it going to be instant or still take time?

I'm really impatient and am expecting miracles lol.

If it's been running on a stocked tank up until you got it then it should give you pretty much an instant cycle. If it's been sat around doing nothing for a few days then most of the nitrifying bacteria will have probably died off.

In that case some of the bacteria may well still be alive. The only way to find out is by testing the water.
