Hi Everyone!

I’m hoping for a little bit of help please ☺
I found these strange little things on the bottom of my aquarium (see photo attachment), which have really concerned me... from google, it looks like they might be seed shrimp, but I’m a little unsure.
I’ve had a recent nightmare with camallanus worms in the tank due to bringing in some new endlers, but have hopefully () fixed this...

Can anyone confirm these are seed shrimp please?

P.s sorry if I’ve posted this in the wrong area

thank you!

Sarah

I can not tell by photo, could you try it against a darker back ground. It may be a scud which are harmless as are most of these tiny "bugs. Many fish will eat them .

thank you so much for the quick response ☺️
Okay so they live on sand in the tank, but I managed to use a pipette to get some on some kitchen roll... lol

it looks like they don’t have a tail and they have quite a hard shell.. they were eating some uneaten fish food in the tank (can’t complain at that!)

I’ve attached photos from the kitchen roll.. accompanied with some sand.
