Second Hand Tank

Just bought a second hand 100 litre 3 ft tank. Have intentions to clean it all up and put some black sand in and maybe aqua scape a little. The problem is the tank has come stocked with fish - opaline gourami, honey gourami and some minnows. I obviously need to move these to a new home. Any ideas how I can do so do you think pet shops would be receptive to taking a mixed bag of fish?

You can certainly ask your local fish shop - it can't hurt. They may be more likely to take them if they already sell them.

If it is somewhere that has tanks isolated from each other, the fish are not looking unhealthy and you don't expect anything for them, most stores would take them off your hands.

Another option is to advertise them free for collection only on here and other advertising websites.
