A couple of my Tiger Barbs got into it yesterday (I have 6 total, but 2 are bigger than the rest and those are the two that were fighting). One of them has a couple significant injuries to the dorsal fin. He's also hiding in the corner. I was due for a water change today anyway (still cycling), and this is even more of a reason to keep the water clean!

I have 2 questions. First question, should I just keep the water clean or should I attempt to treat the fish with any medication? I don't have a quarantine tank (only a breeder tank) set up.

Second question. Should I seclude the injured fish or the aggressor? Everyone else seems to be playing nice.... so far at least. I know the injured fish is already pretty stressed, so wasn't sure if I should stress him further by keeping him away from the others.

I went ahead and did a water change and secluded the injured fish. He seemed a little "off balance", so I thought a small area would probably be best for him. Hopefully the other Tiger calms down. ;)
