Seahorses With?

What can I keep seahorses with??

Other varieties of seahorse?

Shrimps, Crabs, Slugs?

Corals, Marine Plants?

Fish?

Starfish, Snails, other Invertebrates?

Sponges, Anemones?


Any Ideas!!??

Shrimps & Crabs will harass Seahorses

Certain stinging corals are also a bad idea as Sh's tend to wrap there tail around coral etc

Anemones - some species will eat anything that is to slow to get out of the reach

I keep shrimp and crabs (peppermint, pistol, scarlet hermit) with them with no problems. Usually, cleaner shrimp are the ones that will bother the SH, since most seahorses don't like to be cleaned. I won't try emerald crabs

There are some serious potential problems with mixing SH species, but go to the suggested website, and it will tell you in great detail why most people don't like mixing SH species.

Definately no stinging corals, or corals that require extremely high water flow.
