So, I read a lot of previous post about these water conditioners that help to cycle your tank. I kept reading "Bio-Spira really works" so I went to marineland.com and checked for local retailers. There are several in my area. So, I begin calling all of these stores and none of them carry it. I talked with one guy and he said he used "Sea Chem Stability". He said it does basically the same thing. He swears by this stuff and said he's used it in all his tanks. First off, this stuff isn't refridgerated (to my knowledge) and then, it was fairly cheap (Bio-Spira is not). That leads me to believe this stuff probably doesn't work (isn't that awful that I equate cheap with lousy
). Since it is cheap I guess I could give it a try and not be out much....??? I don't know. I was just curious if any of you had ever heard of it or tried it. I could order Bio-Spira online but I'd be looking about paying $25-30...and by the time I finally got it my tank would probably be close to finished cycling. I don't know...just kind of throwing this out there....
