Seachem Prime

I've decided to go with Prime as my primary dechlorinator and figured I might as well fork out the $40 and get the big 2L bottle. My question is that stuff is concentrated and I only have a 55 gal and a 29 gal, so that bottle will last me a LONG time.

Does this stuff ever go bad?

Not that I know of, but then again I've never had it around for more than a year. That 2l bottle lasts me about 6-8 months. As long as the bottle stays closed it shouldn't go bad, I know others who have dechlor that is several years old & still good. I pour some out of the 2l bottle into a 200 ml bottle just to make working with it easier. That way the larger bottle stays sealed until I need a refill.

Where do you get yours from? So far the cheapest I've found is online for about $42 after shipping. Is that about as good as I'm gonna get? Either way thats alot better than $88 at the fish store!
