Scratches

I have got a few light surface scratches on my tank from cleaning, is there anyway or removing them?

inside/outside of the tank? is it glass or acrylic?

I have them too, on the inside of a glass tank.

toothpaste will do the trick. bit of head work though.

Meguiars scratch-x does a great job! (can be found at halfords - under the polish section) Takes alot of elbow grease on glass though (unless you cheat and use a rotary polisher, bit hard on the inside to do this though) - and of course i would suggest possibly sterilising the inside of the tank afterwords if used inside.

If we are dealing with Glass then Jewellers Rouge will take out small scratches but if they're deeply ingrained then nothing is going to totallyl eradicate them. If turning the tank around is an option i.e. front becomes back, then try that.

Thanks its a glass tank The Juwel rekord 70 and the scratches are deep inside and out, maybe tank filter out and change the tank around then glue it back in lol.
