Scratch Remover Kit

Has anyone ever used one of these kits you can buy to remove scratches from inside a glass aquarium?
Or if not, what other way is there to remove light cleaning scratches?

I have used jewellers paste and an electric buffer on quite deep scratches in the past with some success. I think if is similar stuff, it is hard work though if you want to get out the deeper scratches, you also need to be aware that you will be thinning the glass in effect when pollishing out scrathes. Any scratch you can feel with your finger nail will not be completely removed and may still be visible aferwards.

I had a second hand trigon which was quite badly scratched and managed to remove most of the unsightly marks, I used reflectors to aim the light from the tubes away from the front of the glass which hid the rest from sight.
