i wanted to get myself a nice school of cardinals for my tank when i've got some money saved because i think they look fantastic, but i wanted something that will school more tightly and swim about the tank in a tight school, any ideas ?

thanks :) i've researched them before actually, only juts remembered about them lol but they look and seem great :D

My lampeyes and buenos aires tetras school very tightly. They move in tight swarms, and whats even more funny, the buenos aires nd the lampeyes school to form one HUGE school!

my espei rasbora are fantastic schoolers - they move around the tank together really nicely and are much more exciting than my cardinals.

Of all the schooling fish I've ever had the best schoolers were the Neons, Glowlights & Lemon Tetras. I've read that Harlequin Rasboras are even tighter schoolers.

Keep in mind that most schooling fish only stay in tight formation when there's some sort of threat.

my tanks only 64litre, i had espei and hengeli rasbora before! they were quite nice but it would do them justice if my tank wasnt as bare, im in the process of planting it up! i seen some rummynose tetra today wanted to get some. i was thinking some bandit corydora for the bottom part of the tank as well :)
