Scared?

so i just got a new betta 3 days ago he doing fine althought i never see him i feed him anyway. my lil gohst shrimp keep the tanky clean. but he doesnt really come out much he hides bhind the place were my filter takes in water which is the oposit side of the tank the water is coming out. i was wandering if i need to take out teh filter. and sometimes if im not in the room ill come in and see him in the middle of the tank but then he sees me and runs is there anything i can do to makes him not be so afraid?

k i actually just seen him look around the pump at me lol. i waved and he just truned back around lol. hes so cute. see i think i have been haveingit pretty good lately with the shrimp. but do you think he migt eat them when he gets setteled in also is this healthy food for him cuz if so ill buy some toput in there for him every now and then.

He might attack or eat the shrimp, sometimes they do. Best foods are betta pellets (attisons betta pro is good) some blood worms, daphnia and cooked deshelled peas, fast him one day a week.

Sounds like the little guys just getting used to his new home yes there's a good chance he'll snack on the little shrimps. All of the food suggestions zoe listed are perfect
