Scared Angels

i have two angels and i moved them into another tank as the one they were in was it desprite need of redoing. anyway everysince i moved them they hide in the corner ALL the time. this is not like them at all usually the swim about and are quite happy. they dont even come up for their food. can anybody help with this i dont know what to do !

If you were suddenly scooped up and placed in a house in another city and made to live in it you would be a little shy and unsure yourself for a while, untill it felt like home to you. Fish are exactly the same. Give them time and i'm sure they'll be back to their old ways. If in say a weeks time they are still sulking away check your water parameters are ok, other than that they might just be in a bit of shock still. I wouldnt panic though, just give it a bit of time.

yeah i'd check water perams, you could also try feeding brine shrimp or something.

What fish are in the tank with them now? Maybe they're shying away from a bigger fish. How different are the water parameters from the old tank to the new tank? Perhaps you didn't acclimate them long enough when transferring? Whatever their favourite food is, try feeding them some (bloodworm, brine shrimp, whatever).
