So I got my sterbai catfish the other week, and they are the stupidest fish I have ever had, for some reason anytime you go near the tank to look our feed the go crazy banging in to the glass hitting if the sand and just doing stuff that do not look like it is doing them any good getting all flustered like that, some times I move real slowly towards the tank like have to get on the ground and crawl towards it to make them not go crazy, they are next to a high traffic area, but it is inky high traffic for maybe 10-20 minutes a day.

I would think that after nearly 2 weeks they would of calmed down but is their a way to stop them going crazy our am I just gonna have to wait until the get used to it of their own accord, as I don't even know what they are gonna be like when I put root tabs and new plants in next week.

It sounds like your corys are stressed.  They should be swimming around peacefully, not zipping to and fro hitting things.  :)  I'm guessing it's one of the following problems that's causing it:
Under 6 corys-they like groups
Water conditions are bad
Not enough plants to hide in
