Scales Scraped Off

I have just come home and as i got into my room i noticed that my oranda was stuck between rocks and the tank glass. i dont know how long he was there for but he does'nt seem to be stressed out too much.

Now what i was wonderibg was what should i do to help his scales. There is about an inch long by 3/8 of an inch wide missing, some still hanging off. It has not broke the skin but it looks sore.

Is there anything i can give or is it best to just let it sort itself out

How many gallons is the tank.
Is the listing still the same in your sig.
What are your water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Just melafix.

gallons 20 (moving hse soon with bigger tanks)

listing is still the same

Ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 15 ph 7.6 7.8

'just melafix' do you mean just use melafix to treat. Will it be olright till 2moro evening as i have to work.

Do you have any melafix in the house if so I would add a dose just in case.
Your tanks overstocked.
Just try half dose first with the plecs and loach.

i know it over stocked but it only temperary and they are still only young.

I dont have any melafix all i have is myaxzin, white spot treat and a bag of salt

Can't add salt because of the plecs.
I would add the myxazin then.

Loaches and plecs can be funny with salt.
used small doses of salt with plecs but I wouldn't recommend the full dose or even half with them fish.
