Saying Hello!

Before posting elsewhere, I thought I'd say 'hi'!
I'm new to fish keeping as my DD got an aquarium for Christmas. We are going to keep tropical fish (hopefully...not having much luck with the ol cycling at the moment!!) I'm determined to get everything right, so would welcome advice from you experts! I'm sure I'll have many 'silly' questions so apologise in advance for this!!

Hi Lloyd,
I'm cycling fish-less but I'm not convinced I've been given the right advice. I've read the thread about cycling and it's completely different from what I've been doing.
I'll post later with full details so I can have some advice where to go from here.
