About a 1-2 weeks ago, my friend brought me Laurel claiming that she didn't want her to die by being eaten alive by bala sharks at the pet store. My friend also brought Peaches as a gift for me taking Laurel.
Both were giant Xs (I believe) and gorgeous marbles. I have a few pictures which I will post too. Sweet little girls.
Well Laurel (meaning strong and courage) made it for a while, her wounds healing quite well. She almost never unclamped her fins, but was perking up. Her sister, however, NEVER unclamped her fins, developed swimbladder, recovered, but sadly didn't have the will to live. She died a week ago.
Laurel has developed a cottony growth on her wounds just during today while I was in class and is now saying goodbye. I dosed her and have done everything I can, but she doesn't want to hold on. So, here is saying goodbye to Laurel and Peaches and sending out hope that maybe Laurel will make it through.
Peaches--Rest in Peace:
Laurel--You can do it, girl, I know it!
Please keep her in your thoughts.
