Saw A Wierd Fish Today...

I've been seeing these fish, which are obviously danios, in local pet stores recently. I think they look sort of cool but would not buy them until I know if they are genetically bred that way or if they are dyed/colored. If dyed I will NOT purchase.... anyone know about them?

Guess I should read some forums before posting my own, there is one recently posted that talks about just this.... I guess they are called glofish and have coral cells in them.... is this for real? Does the color last? Hope this isn't too redundant.

That fish is not traditionally dyed. It is considered a GMO, or genetically modified organism. It works by changing the RNA (not DNA) to product a protien that glows red.
