Saphire Has 2 Rips In Her Tail...

Hey Everybody,
Saphire who is one of my girls in my sority has 2 rips in ther tail, not just little rips like a big chunk missing as if shes caught it, its too big and neat cut to be another fish, possibly a plant? i have a few plastics in there but they all seem pretty smooth to me. Im changing them all to live plants when my new fish light arrives. Anyway, the rip and the chunk missing doesnt seem to grow back its only been like this about 5 days but im starting to worry about it, shes medium sized compared to the other fish and she swims fine and is still her usual happy self, what can i do to help her tail out? Is it worth putting her in a breeding trap?
I am very sorry about the quality of the photo, but hopefully you can see in the middle of the tail the chunk missing.

it might just of been one of the other females. it all kicked off in m tank yesterday and the dominant one got shredded but theyy all seem good now. just keep clean water and it will heal up nicely

Be sure to change her water more frequently.

The damage to her tail looks like it was done by another fish rather than anything else, perhaps change the decor of the tank around and reintroduce her? make sure there is plenty of floating weed for her to hide if things get rough.

I do have alot of frogbit that i received today, but cant let it in the tank eyt as have to wait until my new fish light arrives and i only have a small light for the frogbit atm in another plastic very small tank.
Will redo it with live plants soon!

Yep looks like a battle bite unfortunantly. I noticed today that my male VT Ramjet has been biting his own tail and my other male VT has a bite mark in his side fin. Theres no signs of infection so im just doing daily water changes.
