Sand( different kind of question)

i have recently switched to sand and love the way it looks. Until i go to bed and my big plec digs it down to the bottom at every corner in the tank. Any ideas to stop him from doing that (its kinda cool to watch him do it but a hassle leveling it all out )At first i thought he was doing it to hide but i put in a cave so he could hide there, well he likes the cave cause thats where he spends his days but at night he digs out the corners. Any suggestions? Maybe its just a phase as i have only had the sand for 5 days now. Hopefully it stops

Lots of different fish love to bury themselves in the substrate, if it's soft enough.

It's nothing to be concerned about, except as you mentioned, levelling it out afterwards. I don't think it'll be possible to stop him.

Think of it as his way of saying "thank you!" for using sand.
