Saltwater Fish Only Lighting...

Okay... I'm curious to know... The lighting for a marine tank, fish only... would it be best to have lower lighting?

I have a 36" tank, and I'm wondering if a 20" lighthood or 30" light hood wood be better than a 36" lighthood?

Lighting for FO tanks is purely aesthetic, so the answer is, whichever you prefer

good to know ^^ I may just buy a 20gallon light strip, put that on my 20gallon for dimmer lighting and use the old 29gallon hood(30") on the 36" tank
