Hi,

I have run out of aquarium salt, is it ok to use normal salt ie Atlantic Sea Salt or does it have to be the one from the pet shops?

are you making a brackish solution? if not why are you using salt?
the answer is no you need aquarium salt. whatever you are doing.

I have mollies which is why I am using salt and therefore, add aquarium salt.

Was only asking if an alternative can be used

Sea salt is the best salt to use, since it best recreates the slightly brackish environment that mollies live in. They can live in anything right up to pure seawater.
